At Sweet Peas & Patches Thrift Store, located at 452 Broadway, Monticello, NY, we strive to make our store accessible to people with disabilities. While some sidewalk limitations in the village may affect access, our store is wheelchair accessible, and we are happy to assist any customer who may need extra support.
At Patches & Sweet Peas Thrift Store, located at 160 Harry L. Drive, Johnson City, NY, we are committed to making our store as accessible as possible to people with disabilities. While we continue to work on improvements, please note that some areas may have limitations. We appreciate your understanding and are happy to assist any customer who may need extra support.
Accessibility physical location arrangements
Sweet Peas & Patches Thrift Stores - 452 Broadway Monticello
Parking: In front of our store, we have limited parallel parking available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that the sidewalk leading to the store has multiple levels and stairs, which may be challenging for some visitors. We offer alternative parking in the field behind the store, between Nelly’s Bar and Halal Chicken, where there is an opening in the fence for easy access.
Our store entrance is step-free, allowing easy access for walkers and wheelchairs.
Walker and Wheelchair Accessbility: Aisles are 30–36 inches wide, accommodating standard walkers, and many customers navigate them sideways if needed. Electric wheelchairs are also able to access the store comfortably. As a thrift store, there may occasionally be items such as bags or boxes in the aisles. We are happy to move these out of the way. We can also assist in store by bringing items directly to you.
Bathrooms: Our simple bathrooms are also accessible to customers.

Parking: Our store offers three parking spaces within 20 feet of the entrance, making it convenient for visitors who may tire easily. There is one step at the entrance, approximately 6 inches high, which may make access challenging for wheelchair users.
Walker Accessibility: Aisles are about 30 inches wide, accommodating standard walkers, and many customers navigate them sideways if needed. As a thrift store, items such as bags or boxes may occasionally be in the aisles, but we are happy to move them. We can also assist in store by bringing items directly to you.
Bathrooms: Our simple bathrooms are also accessible to customers.
